From Girl With No Manners:
When I was about 12 years old, I got
a phone call... which became my most embarrassing story. Well, the
phone rang, I picked it up, and the voice sounded just like my brother
in law... who I always kid around with. So here is how the conversation
went. (by the way, my name is Amy.. my sisters name is Carlie)
Me: Hello?
The man: Hey.. Carlie?
Me: No!! You butt!
The man: Oh. (shocked) Well, who is this?
Me: Are you kidding? It's Amy!
The man: Oh, I'm sorry Amy.
Me: Well you better be!
Then the man politely introduced himself
as Brother Johnson... the man that lived down the street and went
to our church whom I had known since I was born! I was so humiliated
I couldn't even explain to him the misunderstanding. So to this day
he probably thinks of me as the bratty little girl with no manners
whatsoever.
